Lesmahagow Development Trust and Lesmahagow Community Council are working on a plan to upgrade/improve McKirdy park.

Although its still in the early stages of planning, we will soon need community support to help with fundraising to make this possible.

We will have an open meeting in early 2022 where anyone interested in helping or wanting more information can come along.

South Lanarkshire Council has been allocated £298,000 for year one of a five year £3,500,000 programme to renew playparks in the area.

This money will be shared across South Lanarkshire Council, which has 233 play areas, so please encourage friends and family to fill out the survey, As the money is likely to be spent where the   communities express their needs and collective support for the work.
