Dalquandy Community Fund
LDT are administering on behalf of Coalburn, a Community Benefit Grant from the Dalquandy Wind farm.
Grants will be available to support environmental, renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable development, charitable, educational, community, sport and recreation, and general community amenity.
Community bodies, groups, schools, and charitable organisations registered with the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) may apply for an award out of the Community Benefit Fund.
The fund needs to be spent within the Coalburn Community Council area.
Applications should where possible take into consideration Coalburn’s Community Action plan to evidence the Community’s needs and views have been taken into consideration.
There is no upper limit on the application amount. Guidance on holding monies back one year for a future project will be considered on a case by case basis.
Applications will initially evaluated by the Development officer to assess whether they meet the criteria set out, and then either returned to the applicant for appropriate changes or sent on to the panel to review in advance of the panel meeting. In each meeting the applications will be discussed, and a Decision made to award, ask the applicant for additional information or to reject.
Applicants can apply for a different grant after one full calendar year from the date of draw down. Evidence of spending and compliance with grant conditions must be maintained and provided on request.
