On Sunday 12th November, following the service at the War Memorial and the march to The Fountain, the Community Act of Remembrance at The Fountain was well attended and the feed back so far has been really good. We would like to thank everyone who came along to remember and pay their respects to our fallen, our veterans and our active service personnel. 

Special thanks also to our team of volunteers, without whom, it would not have been possible;

• Colin McGavigan for leading our service,
• Speakers; Mary Faulds, Jeanette Brindley, June Stewart Yvonne Black and the girls from the Girls Brigade.
• Our colour party from the Girls Brigade and the Scouts.
• Our bugler and piper.
• Our organisation committee, which included our speakers along with Sheila Westworth and Margaret & Shona from Lesmahagow Community Council and our very own LDT team.

Our collection raised £210 for the poppy appeal.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember Them.
