LDT Projects.

LDT, have now compiled a project list for the village based on feedback provided by village residents to Lesmahagow Community Council. You can view the list in our Library or by clicking this link. Ongoing Projects

Jubilee Hall - LDT is supporting the Friends of the Jubilee in their attempt to save the Jubilee Hall from closure. See also www.savethejubilee.lesmahagowdevtrust.com

Community Plan - Working to creating a community plan which will direct the focus of LDT in future projects.

LDT Office - Establishing an office on Abbeygreen to provide greater contact with residents.

Main Street Improvements - Working with Traders & Tesco to bring improvements the the main street area of Abbeygreen.

Silver Surfers - Beginners Computer & internet lessons, open to all.

Nature Walk - Provision of a new country walkway in association with the Forestry Comission.

Credit Union - This will be based in the LDT office in Partnership with an established Credit union to bring a much needed service to the village.

Completed Projects

Gaelic Lessons - Lesmahagow Development Trust secured funding to allow Gaelic to be taught in the village.
