Coffee Morning
Thank you to all who came along to the Coffee Morning on Saturday 9th July 2011.Race Night
Lesmahagow Development Trust's recent Race Night in the Jubilee Hall was a great success. Many thanks to all who came along to support LDT.Tesco
Lesmahagow Community Council (LCC) have carried out extensive groundwork with Tesco in order to provide a cash injection to the village. The hope was that this cash injection would be provided to LDT as we would then be able to gain match funding on the sum and use it to start bringing changes to the village. This is no longer possible as any money will now be paid to South Lanarkshire Council (SLC). SLC have given their assurances that the money will be ring-fenced for the development of the village centre and they will try for match funding where possible. We have had some correspondance from SLC asking to identify key projects so it is looking hopeful that we can retain some involvement in the process.LDT Information Exhibition
On Saturday 12th June, a coffee morning was held in the Old Parish Church Hall. This event was intended to showcase Lesmahagow Development Trust and be a forum where representatives were available to answer questions and discuss what Lesmahagow Development Trust can do for the village. There was a great turnout to this event and we hope that it has helped to spread the word of what LDT is all about. Many thanks to all who attended on the day.
